Fathom is a full service production company known for award-winning documentary series, true crime and comedy series that have garnered numerous awards including Emmy and Oscar nominations. Our Peabody and Emmy award-winning team has worked on premium documentary series including: STAY TOONED (CBC), HARDCORE HEROES (Discovery and History), K-POP EVOLUTION (YouTube Originals), HELLO GOODBYE (CBC). Our True Crime team has worked on series including A TIME TO KILL (Discovery ID), AN UNEXPECTED KILLER (Oxygen), A STRANGER IN MY HOME (ID).
Our feature documentaries include A.RTIFICIAL I.MMORTALITY which was the Opening Night Film at Hotdocs 2021, nominated for Best Documentary at the 2022 Canadian Screen Awards. MY ENEMY, MY BROTHER was shortlisted for a 2016 Oscar, nominated for an Emmy, and played at Tribeca Film Festival, Hotdocs, Sheffield Doc/Fest, and won Best Documentary at 7 festivals, including the Grand Jury Prize at SDAFF in San Diego. THE DEFECTOR won Best Documentary and Best Documentary Director at the 2014 Canadian Screen Academy Awards and won the SXSW Interactive Award, FITC and a Digi Award.
Our Comedy team has worked with talent including Ben Schwartz, Ken Jeong, Lamorne Morris, Lake Bell and Bobby Moynihan. Our programs have aired on ABC, HBO, CBC, TVO, Crave, SBS, BBC among others.
